Tuesday April 12th 7-9:30

I am looking forward to spending time with other moms and being an encouragement to each other!! We will plan some field trips this next meeting and share what kind of curriculum we have used and what we liked and did not like about it. if you have something you love please bring it and show us. We  can all learn from each other.

because Lisa agreed to go and meet people in case they did not hear that we were canceled we had 4 woman meet. God showed up. It was so nice to spend time with moms who are wanting the best for their Children.  I can't wait to see what God does with this group. Moms who love Jesus and love their kids and encourage one another.... can change the world! My daughter Emma is very sick. We will plan another field trip soon. if you have any ideas please share them!!

Art Museum Thur. Feb. 24th 1-3

I am going to be at the Art Museum on the Family Life Center from 1-3 on Thur. I would love to have anyone who would like to join me. Hope to see you there:)

first HOME meeting tue. Feb. 8th 7-9:30

Home schooling moms in the area are going to be getting together to share ideas, encouragement, laughter and prayers tuesday Feb. 8th from 7-9:30.  This meeting will be open house style, come when you can, leave when you need to. there will be no child care. We are meeting at Westgate chapel. please enter through the east entrance. We will be in the green room.  please pass this on to anyone you know who is, was or is thinking about homeschooling. see you there!!!

Art museum update 2/3/11 shortened to 1-3 due to weather

because of the weather we are going to shorten the field trip to give crews a little longer to clean up the roads. Hope to see you there!! see older posts for details!!

HOME first field trip. thur. Feb. 3 @ toledo art museum from 11-3

This field trip is open house style, come when its best for you. My hope is that as we connect with each other we will find others who work on the same kind of schedule as we do so that small group field trips will be the norm.

I have found that if you can find just a couple other moms to do stuff with you and your kids have a lot more fun and its not so overwhelming as a large group is.

I can't wait to get to talk and visit with all of you!!

for those of you who are not familiar with  the art museum it has a family life center in the basement that is set up for all age kids. there are art projects, manipulative's, blocks, dress-ups and easel painting. you can park in the church parking lot next door for free or parking is $5. The family life center is free. if there are a lot of us we  can send some of the older kids up to the galleries with a mom or two while other moms stay downstairs.
